J is for Job
Put to Use
If you want to writing to become your job, you have to treat it that way. Here are three quick ways to accomplish that:
- Schedule time for it. You may not be clocking in and out in the literal sense, but regular hours will help you stay on task.
- Act professional. Don’t gossip on Twitter about the idiotic thing (insert author name here) did at RWA last year.
- Take breaks. Seriously. Otherwise, you’re going to get burned out and torch the place—I mean, quit. :)
